On this exciting journey, we’ll visit Oslo, Gjovik, Lillehammer, Gudbrandsdalen, Geiranger, Trollstigen, Dovre, and Trondheim.

 

Enjoy professional guided tours, including relaxing boat cruises on the fjords, as well as a RIB BOAT “Action Safari” (high speed rigid inflatable boats) traveling at exhilarating speeds across the Oslo fjord. Experience river rafting in Gudbrandsdalen, with a professional rafting crew for thrill seekers. Gudbrandsdalen with its tall mountains, mighty rivers, lush forests and rich cultural heritage has inspired artists, chefs, and outdoor enthusiasts for centuries. If you’re not up for river rafting and an RIB action safari, there are several hiking and shopping opportunities.

 

Relax with a dinner cruise on “Skibladner”, the world’s oldest paddle steamer still in timetabled operation, having sailed for over 165 years. We’ll also drive in a comfortable vehicle across breathtaking mountain ranges with waterfalls and scenic routes, staying in top hotels and mountain cabins along the way, including luxurious spa hotels with spectacular views. We’ll be visiting small ‘hidden gem’ villages and tasting the local fare, which the average tourist doesn’t get the chance to do.

 

One of our favorite sites is the seaside resort town of Geiranger and the iconic Geirangerfjord, known for its spectacular waterfalls and deserted fjord farms high up on the steep cliffsides. It is considered one of the most beautiful fjords in the world, and is included on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Enjoy the SPA at this phenomal hotel with an incredible view. Our journey will continue on Trollstigen, (The Troll’s Road) a serpentine mountain road and pass in Rauma Municipality, a visual feast where even the bravest travelers can feel the adrenaline pumping through their veins.

 

We’ll travel across Dovrefjell, and see the famous Musk Ox, where millions of years ago, they grazed side by side with the mammoth in Norwegian mountains. Exploring the city of Trondheim, we’ll visit the enormous gothic Nidaros Cathedral from the 11th century, then take a ferry to the ancient monastery and brewery of Munkholmen.  We’ll also enjoy a 5 course dinner at an award winning restaurant by the sea.

 

The final leg of our amazing journey will end in Gjovik, at “Sommerslagere”, a phenomenal musical show with Norway’s finest singers and musicians, followed by a day of relaxation at a spa hotel.
